Mahjong solitaire with emoji instead of Chinese characters — 🐸 and 🍕 and 🎸 rather than suits you have to learn first. Match two free tiles showing the same face and they lift off the board.

The gentlest tier: small boards of 32 to 52 tiles with plenty of open edges, across four shapes — Arch, Bowtie, Crate and Steps.

Every board can be cleared — and that is proven, not hoped

Most mahjong apps deal tiles at random, which is why so many boards turn out to be impossible. These are built backwards instead: pairs are lifted off an empty layout in a legal order, and that order is recorded as a working solution. Each board is then replayed at build time to confirm it, and every one was cleared again by an automated player through the game's own controls.
