100 codewords. No clues at all — just a grid, 26 numbers, and the shapes of the words.

A codeword is a crossword with the clues taken away. Every letter has been replaced by a number, the same number every time it appears, and your job is to rebuild the alphabet from scratch. It is the purest deduction puzzle in the collection, and it needs no general knowledge whatsoever.

This is the gentlest tier: five letters are filled in for you before you start, which is usually enough to break the first word open.

What you get

• All 26 letters appear in every single grid — verified individually, so the alphabet checklist is always a reliable tool
• Every entry is a real, common English word. No abbreviations, no proper nouns, no obscure dictionary padding. With no clues to lean on, that fairness matters more here than anywhere else.
• No word repeats inside a puzzle, and all 100 grids are different
• Its own vocabulary. Every word of four letters or more in these packs is unique to Codeword — none of it is shared with the crossword or word search packs, so playing one game can't give the other away.

How to load it

Open 7ThirtyWorld Puzzle Studio, choose Add a pack, and select this file — or just drag the file onto the app. It joins your library permanently and works completely offline.
